We Serve America, a Washington D.C. based 501(C)(3), founded by Veterans of every war since World War II, is creating programs to have Veterans Day take its rightful place in the nation. America celebrates Memorial Day and the 4th of July with nationally televised concerts and great fanfare – and well it should. However, there is no “national” celebration of Veterans Day--yet.  Presently there are an estimated 19.5 million veterans in the United States.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the 2018 Veterans Day Concert has been cancelled. Please click here for more information.

Vet Chats

Join us for our monthly Vet Chats. Listen to other veterans and share your journey. Be with us.

We Serve was founded in 2012 to focus a light on that most important element of the human being that government funding and government programs don't address -- the spirit. We Serve focuses on healing the bruised soul through its Vet Chat programs that create a safe, peer-supported environment inside of which veterans can find their voice and heal.

The We Serve Vet Chat program is a ministry with the mission of healing the bruised soul. Vet Chats work as veterans share their stories of what they used to be like, what happened, and what they are like now.

The We Serve Awards

We Serve recognizes the good work of charities all across America. We present the annual We Serve Award to those doing the best work to help veterans heal in Body, Mind, and Spirit.

We Serve is privileged to present the 2016 We Serve Award to The Bob Woodruff Foundation and The Atlantic Council for outstanding service to transitioning, post-9/11 veterans through the Take Point Initiative (TPI). Since 2014 the Take Point Initiative has supported veterans pursuing careers as nonprofit and thought leaders in the policy field, providing them with a voice in key discussions shaping American foreign policy, national security, and the narrative around veterans in America. By so doing, the TPI produces long-lasting, positive outcomes for our nations's wounded, ill, and injured veterans, service members and their families.
